I always felt that intelligent monsters are far more scary than slow and dumb ones. Not that a horde of 100 zombies isn't scary, but I just love clever monsters like the Thing from John Carpenters movie for example.
I was surprised no one else thought of it... with Ned calling them "New Tribe" the whole time it seemed very logical to me. Everyone's going with the spliced abominations though.
